Fall Update
Ministry Opportunities from Coast to Coast
Our last few weeks of ministry included a Family Camp in Spokane, WA, with Grace Moldovian Baptist Church. Then, we trekked across the country for three weeks of ministry in churches on the East Coast, including services with two of our partnering Hispanic churches in North Carolina.
To close out September, we attended the Spiritual Leadership Conference at Lancaster Baptist Church in Lancaster, CA. We were excited to be joined by many of our Slavic friends from churches in the Pacific Northwest (pictured below).
October Recap
October began with Lorri speaking at the Southern Ladies Retreat and Pastor Wayne preaching in Sunday services at Sardis Free Will Baptist Church in Eufaula, AL. We were encouraged to see the Gospel work God is doing through this local group of believers and enjoyed serving alongside Pastor Joey and Bridgett McCreight (pictured below).
Later in October, Pastor Wayne preached at a Moldovian Youth Conference in Spokane, WA. His messages focused on equipping young people to be a wise generation in a foolish nation with biblical principles from the Book of Proverbs.
Happening Now
We are thrilled that Pastor Costel Cheptea from Moldova is with us in Kansas for services in many different churches. The Nazaruk family (originally from Ukraine and pictured below) will join him and share special music. Please pray that God uses this time of ministry to encourage believers in the heartland.
Prayer Request and Opportunities to Give
Earlier this year, Pastor Wayne visited Mexico on a three-week crusade. While in Mexico, we found a church in great need of some construction help. In just a few weeks, a team of our Russian-speaking brothers from the Pacific Northwest will be traveling to Mexico to assist our Hispanic brothers in building their church!
In addition, our ministry partner in India, Pastor Lordson Roch, is nearing completion of his church’s new sanctuary, college building, and dormitories (pictured below). To date, approximately $55,000 remains to complete this project.
