Our History

Missions Revival is an extension of the missions program of the Medora Community Bible Church (MCBC) in Hutchinson, Kansas. Missions Revival works within the guidelines of the missions policies of MCBC to further the kingdom work of God.

In 2013, the pastors of MCBC laid hands on Pastor Wayne and Lorri Johnson and sent them out as full-time missionaries. This allowed the Johnsons to relinquish most of their local duties at MCBC in order to travel full-time in ministry. Pastor Wayne Johnson is currently serving on the Missions Committee of MCBC, and in September of 2021, the Johnsons reached a milestone of 30 years in partnership with MCBC.

Missions Revival enables the Johnsons to further the Gospel of Christ, His Word and work globally.

Our Beginning

The name “Missions Revival” explains what took place in a local church (MCBC) when they understood their responsibility as the missions agency of God. “Missions Revival” also describes what needs to happen in every local church. Each local church needs to be biblically based regarding missions where the church is personally involved in the work of the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.
